At Hamilton Hearing, LLC , we believe that proper hearing healthcare is critical to our overall wellness. Untreated hearing loss in adults is the third most common physical condition after arthritis and heart disease. It affects about 40 million adults over the age of 50 and can lead to anxiety, low self esteem, withdrawal from social activities, depression and an increased risk for dementia and Alzheimer's (John Hopkins School of Medicine, 2011). It is an invisible condition. We can't see it; only its effects.
That is why here at Hamilton Hearing, LLC we believe hearing screenings are important to our patients' overall health and well being. If we find you have normal hearing, that is great news. We will then have an established baseline to help in your preventative care and wellness. If we find that you have hearing loss and can benefit from hearing aids, we'll discuss options that fit your needs, lifestyle and budget. Healthy hearing can dramatically improve your day-to-day interactions with your friends and loved ones and the world around you!

In both the OTICON Intent and the ZEAL, there are 12 million sound samples of the world loaded into the chip of each hearing aid, enabling you to hear things you may not have heard in years and the sound is so natural. They both have sensors that help you hear better and more clearly in challenging listening environments.
The ZEAL is Auracast ready and the Intent is available with both a T-Coil and Auracast to help you connect with assistive listening systems that are in many houses of worship, auditoriums, theaters, performing art centers, etc.
If you or your spouse work or are retired from New York State or the Federal Government, you may be eligible for hearing aids at no cost. If you worked or retired from the NYS Police, NYS Corrections, NYS DEC, NYS Forest Ranger, NYS Canal System, NYS DOT, NYS Thruway Authority, SUNY or the Federal Government you may be eligible. We except the NYSHIP Empire Plan as well as Federal Government Plans 104, 105, 111 and 112.
We are also a participating provider with Excellus BC/BS, United Healthcare, TruHearing. Let us check your coverage for you.
We will work with all insurance companies and file your claim for you. For those without insurance coverage, we provide affordable budget plans and no-interest financing options, if desired.
